Temp gauge response

The Golden Globe Diagnostic excellence award goes to all of the geniuses who 
correctly pointed me to the "earth" circuit.  Fortunately, I am bilingual and 
I went right to the ground circuit on the back of the speedo.  Voila!  And 
now I have both temp and gas gauges which give me some reasonable idea of 
what is actually happening.
