I have run into trouble getting my speedo to work. It is in a 78 Spit. The cable seems to turn if it is removed from the transmission or from the speedo. The speedo will turn if the cable and gear etc. are removed from the transmission. I noticed in my Haynes book that there is a earth wire to be attached. What is the purpose for this? |
