Thread Size

I am sorry if this is repetative as we are having work email trouble.  I
need to get the thread size for the rear axle shaft on my 78 Spitifire.  The
end got dinged up and I can't get a nut started on it.  I need to find a die
for it. Any help would be awesome!!
