No, but there was a donut stall at the show - and a Sinclair C5 I forgot to
mention when I wrote to the list.
I've never seen that car there before, it seemed to be parked outside
someone's houes so maybe it was just visiting.
My Baby Blue has gone off visiting without me just now. I've found a
mechanic who works on old cars and he's taking her in to work tomorrow to
give her a complete inspection and give me a list of priorities for repairs.
Top of the list is to sort out the oil leaks which seem to be just as bad.
At last now I should find out just what does still need to be done, and how
urgent any of it is.
I haven't forgotten your offer to talk me through doing it all myself but I
really don't feel up to it. I'll feel happier having a professional do it, I
just hope it doesn't end up costing me too much but he's aware I'm not
exactly flush so that's the idea of a prioritised list.
I'll let you know what he says when he brings her back (it did seem strange
seeing someone else drive off in her though he has left his car here as
hostage).
