A few years ago lister Gary Tester gave me a bunch of spitfire stuff (thanks
Gary!). Included was a fibreglass GT6 bonnet/hood. It's pretty rough, I
think he said it was a reject - first out of the mold or something. You'd
have a hard time using it for a street application, the light holes are too
large, the fit is poor and it has a slight crack on the nose (easily
repairable). But it is fairly light and might be useful to someone for
autox. I used it for a few months on my spit as a temporary measure before
taking the car off the road a while ago. Painted in a redish primer of some
sort.
Anyway - I need to clear some room in my garage and don't need it anymore.
FREE to a good home / any home.
I'm not interested in the hassle of shipping it. You have to come and get it
or arrange for someone else to do so. It's located in San Francisco near
Golden Gate Park. Email me if you're interested. I'll probably toss it in
