I used a sawzall. Had the old section out in about 10 minutes. Of course that doesn't include the hour it took "wondering and worrying" if it was the correct way to go about it. As you've already read, don't overcut, so as to leave something to reweld to (as long as it's good steel) Good luck and have a nice day.....unless you've made other plans !!
