If you like Science Fiction, let me tell you this. I don't know the time
in your area, but in Portland, Oregon, on this June 1, from 8:00 PM to
10:00 PM, on our local PBS station, perhaps the best science fiction
movie ever done will be on, "The Lathe of Heaven". Please spread the
word.

It is certainly my favorite movie. I'll tell you this though, it will
take two viewings to understand it all, so best tape it.

This movie hasn't been on TV in almost 18 years, as the author (Ursula
LeGuin), (sp?), and the producer (PBS) have been in a royalty argument
ever since. According to PBS, it is "the most requested program in the
PBS library", one reason is because of all my requests to them to show it
again. It has been digitally re mastered.

Even when it was on TV, it was only on about 3 times, before the 'fight'
started. Fortunately, I had a VCR then, so I've got a copy, but it's
getting old, well worn, you know what I mean.

If you don't like Sci-FI, then never mind. If you do like Sci-Fi that
makes you THINK, and if you've never seen this, you're in for a treat.
This is not a Star Wars type shoot 'em up Sci-Fi movie. Even by today's
standards, it is extremely well done, at least in my opinion.

I hope you enjoy it, should you choose to watch it.
