I believe you can still buy "new car smell" in a spray can. Used car
dealers use the stuff.

Last night, at our monthly Triumph club meeting, one of our members brought
his '57 TR3 that he's restored and built for the Great Race 2000-and believe
it or not- it definately has a 'new car' smell! (And it's gorgeous! Painted
in Spitfire colours he's pointed out to me several times!-BRG with an Inca
