Can anyone help me? I have a '76 1500 Spit (Twin HS4 SU carbs). I don't have trouble starting it but it doesn't want to tick over once started. I will just cut out after a minute or so. I have tried differing amounts of choke many times and it does seem to help if I use less than full choke, but it still doesn't idle particularly well. Once, you start driving it is fine. Can anybody tell me what might be wrong with the tuning of the carbs (I am asuming that is the problem) Thanks Stuart Kettle (UK) |
