I need someone's expertise here. The front bumper of my spit has a small patch of chrome that has been worn away/chipped away whatever over the years. It has a little rust on it (surface only and the area is about 1/2 inch wide and 4" long - and it is not all rusty. Short of re-chroming, what is the best method to cover it as inconspicuously as possible? Silver paint? Some kind of magic "remedy" out there that someone has used?
