Ah yes, "The Avengers" one of my all-time favorite shows. I believe Tara
drove a Lotus Europa (neat car, I wish I had one).
BTW most if not all of the episodes are now available as "digitally
remastered" on video tape and DVD (I have almost all of them), and there are
episodes included that were originally banned from showing in the US - these
mostly involve Mrs. Peel wearing almost nothing at all - mild by today's
standards.

I was just talking to a friend about 'The Avengers'-Steed drove a Bentley,
Mrs. Peel drove an Elan-and he said that Mrs. Peel's replacement-Tara- drove
a Spitfire! I don't remember! Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone remember
what Mrs. Peel's predecessor (Mrs. Gale-played by the delicious Honor
Blackman) drove?
