New Tires

Question for you??

I am considering putting new rims on my 63 spit. My local parts store can
give me a good deal on a nice set of chrome rims, they are 14x6, with a set
of low profile tires will this size rim cause any problems with clearance?
The car has 13x4.5 stock rims right now with ugly tall bad handling tires,
from the previous owner.

If anyone has done this let me know, I'd like some feed back before I invest
the $$$$.
