Well I worked my living tail off Saturday and with the help of three friends
got a lot done. I was able to prep the inside and firewall back to the
quarter panels for paint. I have decided to paint the car in sections,
believing it will be easier to deal with smaller sections at one time.
Working from 8 am till 6 pm sanding I found out the hardway what tennis
elbow is as I can now barely use my right arm. MAN DOES THAT HURT!!!

Goals for the week, Paint the firwall, rockers and sills, along with the
interior. prep the rest of the body shell for paint. Buy everything needed
to reinstall the engine.

Quick question, everyone has told me not to reuse the tappets with a new
cam, what about pushrods - I have one bent but the other 7 are good and I am
trying to save at every angle possible.

I know the 4 into one header has to be bent to clear the frame, does anyone
know exatly how much and at what location. I am hoping to get this done
without the time consuming additive of trial fitting.

Patrick
