Indeed, someone (DPO of my brain) hit the reverse gear on the foreign
exchange. And I'm sure that will not be the last of the $1.04/litre
discussion. Be warned I will put the nomex on once I'm "medium rare". I'm
sure our European friends understand such fuel prices.
The scary thing is, I think we may be headed there in the short term. Does
anybody remember the magnitude of price hikes in the 70's? I only vaguely
remember premium selling for about 0.75 / Imperial Gallon as a kid.
...Of course, cigarettes were 2 25's for $1.00 (Mom used to smoke), there
was such a thing as $0.25 draft nite (not shot glass sized), good steak
was less than $1.00/lb etc etc.
