But the question remains, do rhd spit wipers wipe from left to right or from
right to left as our do. I guess that would depend on what side the motor
is placed on, I can't remember if it is on ht left or right side over there.

Yes, that's so, but it has to do with adjustment, not
replacement. You change the way the wipers park and that
will affect the wipe pattern.
