I took to driving a car on the road pretty quick.  Of course, I had some
prior experience driving various tractors and the pickup on our small farm.
It did amaze me when I took driver's ed how poorly some kids did.  They
didn't seem to have a sense of the vehicle's 'presence'; always running off
the road or out of their lane.  It kind of surprised me.
