John;

There is a cardboard piece that the speaker mounts to which in turn mounts
in the back area of the "glove box". TRF has these as I just got one from
them. Sorry, I don't have the part number with me.

Dear Listers,

Please give me the benefit of your experience. I need to install new plastic
windshield trim, and at first blush it looks like a tough job to get right.
I have seen the diagram for the installation tool in the shop manual, but I
would like some tips on procedure from someone who has actually done the
work.

Second question, does anyone know how the original radio speaker was
installed in a 79'. I have a replacement PVC glove box and the speaker does
not seem to be compatible. Also, does the speaker have a protective grill?

I look forward to your responses.
