No. Presuming your '76 is a US-spec car, it has those rear extensions
that GT6s did not have. Other than that, it's very similar, save for the
radiator mount (and roto-flex mounts for those GT6 Mk3s).

Basically it would fit, but bonnet mounts would need to change
drastically, and the rear extensions wouldn't be needed on anything
earlier than a 1974 Spitfire 1500 (US).
