Engine identification

  ...for your input re the engine to my Spitfire 4 with engine number 
  RD8468E. I have concluded it to has the following specification:
  
  'RD' is correct for originally fitting in to a front wheel drive car, 
  which is supposed to be the Triumph 1300.
  
  
  CC:           1296CC
  BHP:          61 bh@5000rpm (singel carb)
  TORQUE <MAX>: 72.91 lb.ft@3000rpm. (singel carb)
