Diff Lube & GL-5

Hello to the list

Just a quick question, Im doing a diff rebuild, and saw several posts
against GL-5  gear oil, due to its ability to devour the copper thrust
washers. So I looked for the GL-4 at the local parts store and
everything is GL-5  what's my best source for this or is there any GL-5
brand that's safe to use?  I don't want to take any chances now that Im
this far!
