I don't have a Euro Spec Spit 1500, but I do have a US spec one with
the original choke knob. Yes, the knob is in the mirror position of
the UK car.

Dear Listers,

Does anyone on the list know the location of the factory manual choke
control on a European Specification left hand drive Spitfire 1500? My guess
is that it is the reverse of the UK model, ie. right of the steering wheel
and close to the center dash panel. It could also work will if installed to
the left of the steering wheel. Please e-mail me off line if you can help.
