Actually, if you put the new S-Type next to the MkII, the Jaguar lines
really show up. I guess it's kind of like a beutiful lady standing next to
a, er, less attractive one<g>

The new Jag - are we talking about the S-Type? What a horrible car! It's a
Ford, with leather interior. (Actually, the interior looks really nice -
but
the shape of the car - yuck! It's just not a Jag!)
The XK8 and XKR, though - now they're very nice cars. In fact, if I could
afford one, I might even trade my Spit for it. Actually, I wouldn't - I'd
keep
the Spit as well as the Jag. The Spit because it is by far the nicest
looking
car I've ever seen, but the 4-litre (I think) super-charged engine of the
XKR
would be nice to have too if it was affordable.
And of course we can't talk about Jags without the obligatory mention of the
E-Type. If only they hadn't created the S-Type, they would be one of the
all-time best marques, IMHO. Let's hope that they (or Ford) realise the
error
of their ways and in future keep the Jaguar marque as special as it always
has
been.

Fred,
Not fair to reference the new jag, and then not attach a picture or a
URL for us that don't know what it looks like.
