I've used the "air brushes" for some of the small work on my Morgan and a
friend said he uses one to spray the firewalls on show cars he restores.

As to the disposable propellant cans, you can also use an old tire or
innertube.  Fill it with air for your compressor and then hook the small
paint gun/air brush to the tire for a source of air.  Works pretty well,
is inexpensive to do, and hold a good bit of air.
