I think it actually started out as RHD, was converted to LHD for some time
very early on (during which time it was used very extensively in publicity
photos -- for example, check out the first "1963" ad at
<http://www.vtr.org/Spitfire/Spitfire-ads.html>), and ultimately converted
BACK to RHD. According to the photos in the lasest issue of Triumph World,
it is RHD today.
