A public apology for conduct unbecoming towards Joe Curry

Well, if one doesn't behave like a twit, one doesn't have to apologize
for it.  That means I failed.  And the only honorable thing I can do is
publicly apologize to Joe.  I am sorry Joe.  I leapt too soon, and I
leapt wrongly.  I shall endeavor to ask questions more in the future,
and wait longer to grow towards anger.
