Midget 1500 questions

Hiss!  Boo!  Hiss!

Yes, I know.  But I had some questions, seeing as how the 1500 in the
Spit and Midget are basically the same engine:

I have obtained what appears to be a complete smog setup for a '79
Midget, including air pump and air rail.  Is this similar to or the same
as the Spitfire smog setup, or close enough that someone who needs the
stuff to be legal/original can use it on a Spit?  Inquiring minds want
to know...
