...haven't put it back on yet. This is what was on the car when I bought it
Stock pipe size with a cheapo Monza 4-to-1 header and this single cherry bomb.
Volume is a 'matter of taste' and 'relative' at the least.
I'd say it was loud... but not annoying or obnoxious.
The tricked out Hondas of today with their fat tail pipes are louder.
It had a rather nice 'power note' whern you stepped on it.
On a long highway cruise... yeaha... it gets alittle annoying...I'd prefer to
listen to the wind
and the birdies.
I'm hoping the Monza add on twin tip resonator will quite it down just a bit.
(take the 'high power' sharp edge of the exhaust note.)
Actually.... I guess what I'll be putting back on it Satuday morning...
is about equivalent to one half of the Monza twin rear system sold by Moss and
VB
But it only costs $50 for the bomb and tip when using the stock front pipes.

Subject: Muffler?
How does the new cherry bomb muffler sound on the 1500? I am thinking
of putting one on myself? Please email me back at

Thankyou
