Finely got around to testing the generator and I think your right. I
connected the terminals together and then checked it with my meter to ground.
I should be reading around 15 volts at 750 rpm. All I could get out of it was
2 volts at 3000 rpm! The other tests I did indicate the field coil is
probably shorted out. Back to store tomorrow.
