Just for comparison's sake the new hybrid we're going to start building this
semester is going to weigh around 7000-8000 lbs! With two GE ecostar ac
induction motors, about 300 V of Hawkers and a fuel cell from energy
partners. Plus all the other goodies that come with a fully loaded year
2000 surburban. Its going to be a beast.
