I only reply as I had almost the same problem on a Dodge omni a few years ago. Make sure the bolts that hold the callipers are really clean, and that they are not binding. What I found was that the calipers were not "floating" and this would eat up one then the other brake pad. I cleaned up the bolts on a wire wheel and never had another problem. I also made sure the calliper was very clean as the pads need to slide around. It still amazes me that disk brakes work at all. John |
