Working on an empty gas tank is the most dangerous thing you can do. Completely full of water is about the safest you can do but still be very careful of air pockets. Working on a full gas stank is far safer than working on an empty one. The gasol;ine needs oxygen to burn explode. If the tank is full and the work is below the fuel level is is hard to explode the tank. However it can be hard to fill holes with a tank full of water. Only tried it once and it didn't work. |
