My Spitfire has been my only car for several months now, although I can't
honestly say that "no one would think anything of it".  And I know of at least
two other club members who have a Spit as their only car.

I'm not fortunate enough to say it's never broken down on the road, though -
last weekend was the third time it's done that since I've had it.  Maybe that's
just because it does more miles than yours?
