The nut I am working with is what I call a 'T' nut, hex head on the end of a
threaded ferrule.  It's the top fastener on the bumper guard.  Where it was is
only a crater.  My concern is whether  the JB Weld adhere to the sides of the
crater well enough to hold.  I suppose trying it is the only way to find out.  I
think I'll try driving some pins (finishing nails)through the JBs and the sides 
of
the crater before the stuff hardens, just in case.
