In my nieve days of getting spitifire parts I used to frequent this place.
I have brought some "Good quality working" SU carburetter from here to
replace my old warn ones. They were worse than my originals, I also got a
Softop which leaks around the windos, and dosnt fit correctly. A vertical
link which snapped when I was driving. Read what you will from that I don't
want to knock the place, it's just that I have now developed a nervos twitch
which stops me driving within a 10 mile radius of Finch Hampsted.
On the other hand, I would recomend a place called Mannor Garage in Wantage,
Oxfordshire, on the way in to Wantage from M4 J14. 8 miles above the M4.
01235 767751. He'll be able to look you out some parts, you'll go there and
see loads of old Jags, Rovers, Triumphs and MG's. It's the garage where I
get all the work I need dont that I can't or dont have time to do. I also
pop there for parts and gaskets, a Triuph garage within two mile is Ideal
for me.
