Hello Fellow Spitlisters,
I am new to the list. Although I have been hanging out watching the
threads for the
last couple of weeks. I think this is the greatest thing since sliced
bread.
any way... I have a 72 mkIV, love it had it a couple of years, Finally
got it on the road this
summer... still a rolling resto... no rust, fresh engine, needs interior
and fresh paint.
I have a question regarding adjusting the bonnet... the right side
doesnt latch, all parts are there
it doesnt line up. the left side latches but if you drive it around it
eventually comes unlatched.
the frame is not bent. I don't know if there is any adjustment at the
hinge point. What is the
easiest way to adjust this.
