Ground Clearance

After an interesting weekend drive around the west of Ireland in my Mk2,
I've decided that either the roads need to be smoother or I need to raise
the exhaust and suspension on the car. The low point of the exhaust, just
before the final silencer is quite low - about three inches.

What's the best approach to raise the clearance?
