Welcome to the club.  It sounds like your car is running rich  - and is
essentially flooding out when trying to restart warm.  I would guess that your
choke is not operating properly.  There is a needle in the choke housing that 
has
an O-ring on it.  On mine that ring had deteriorated and was letting extra gas
flow by.

This is a common problem with the automatic chokes.  There is no rebuild kit and
the  manual tells you that it can't be rebuilt.  I was lucky enough to run into 
a
mechanic that would tell me what to do and had some O-ring on hand.

The common cure seems to be to change to a manual choke or block off the
automatic one.  If you block off the automatic one you will have trouble with
cold starts as you don't have the enrichment feature.
