Spitster Listers,

Just a simple question this time (no hypothetical ones!).

1. What does the "M" on the hood (bonnet) release latch stand for? "Motor"?

2. On a Mk IV, I have a rounded padded horn button surround. No phoney seam on
it. On
the 1500 I have a squared off surround with pretend seam moulded into the
rubber. I
ordered a replacement and got the squared off one. What should be on a MK IV?

3. I see 2 different horn button brushes listed. One at 2.6" and one at
3.4" long.
The price of one is about $11, the other about $25! Any idea why the 2 types
and the
big price difference. Sure enough mine would require the $25 one. (Either
that or I
make one out of a broken ball point pen.)

Cheers, Fred
