I've used POR-15 before but never on exhaust parts. I doubt that it would last
very long. It might survive near the end of the pipe where gases have cooled off
to some degree (e.g. after the muffler). Anywhere near the manifold will be too
hot.
I have used a stainless steel high temp paint on my manifold and it is still
looking good after one year. That may be more appropriate but you would have to
totally clean the exhaust system.
