I just got .030 over pistons for my 1500. Ibought them from British Parts
Northwest for $146 I believe. The pistons say .030 over on them. What you
should do is measure the cylinder bore with a telescoping gauge to see if they
are stock. I believe 1500s had a stock bore of 2.900, but I'd check that number
before you make any decisions on it. Stock TR6 pistons are .040 over a Spit,
but you have to mill the block to make them work.
