Joe, you're right, this turned out to be a rather naff thread, didn't
it? Oh well, these things happen.
Anyway, here's my summary of the replies I've had (since it was me who
suggested that the originator of a thread summarizes the replies, I
ought to follow up on it however naff the thread......)
It seems like all Spitfires have this particular pipe. The mystery,
therefore, is not why my car has one, but why the Kipping catalogue
doesn't. I'm sure a call to John Kipping would answer this question,
but since it really isn't all that important, I don't think I'll worry
about it until I need to........
Ok, naff thread ended, let's get back onto some interesting stuff again!
