It is my understanding that serial #'s on our cars vary by a few hundred
from one component to another.
For example, my '67 GT6 is
comm. # KC6353L
engine # KC6869E
body # 5940KC
However, my '68 GT6 is
comm. # KC11856LO
engine # KD11348E
body # 21834KC
Anybody have an explanation for the (much) higher body number? Did Triumph
really make an extra 10K GT6 bodies? Just curious.
