Rad flush kit??

Hi all,

I'm considering installing one of those rad flush kits which go into one of
the heater hoses - my coolant plug on the block is frozen very solid and I don't
want to try too hard and snap it off.

Has anyone tried these; if so, did it work well, and, which heater hose did
you install it in?
