The quaiffe diff unit just replaces the spider gear arrangment in the
standard Spit diff. casing.
Which means you still have the same problems with the pinion and side axle
bearings, drive shafts, etc.
>From what I know of the Spit diff, the normal "problem" is wear on the
pinion spacer gets the ring/pinion whining.....
