All this time I thought this effect was a result of Murphy's Law (called
Sod's Law in some parts of the world). :)
Ken, once you are sure the clutch hydraulics are OK you'd better start
looking at other causes of difficult shifting: thrust washers, pivot
linkages, pressure plates, etc
