I've got a million dollars on the Rotary.
Anybody...? Anybody....?
Not to be disrespectful Laura, but you are insane. Unless you're
humiliating Porsches and Vipers in Nigel, you don't even stand a
chance. Do you really fully understand what the Ro-spit is?? This
isn't just some garden variety chop and slop rotary conversion, it's a
full-on, best of everything, no compromises hot rod, built by really
talented people as a showcase for the magazine, drawing on the expertise
of the best and brightest in the field. The level of engineering in
this thing is astounding. 12 second quarter mile times... Four times
the horsepower of a 1500 in a lighter, stiffer shell. Wildwood racing
brakes, Konis, fuel cell, a full cage... Balanced within 25 pounds at
all four corners...
I'm willing to make the bold prediction that the only time you catch a
glimpse of the Ro-Spit after the first hundred yards is when it's
lapping you, a phenomenon which will likely happen frequently.
How about we start a pool? We'll base it on the ratio of the number of
laps The Ro-spit completes for every one of Laura's. I'm thinking that
2 or 2.5 to one is probably in the winning range.
Again, no disrespect intended, but c'mon....
