you know, all this talk about what color was the engine in what year
has become quite plenty. therefore, i must say something to
contribute to the banter.
if your not worried about originality, paint your engine black. this
will help aid in heat removal. afterall, it has been proved that the
color black will radiate the most amount of heat, and if it's flat
black it will radiate a little more than glossy. that's why all your
radiators are painted a flat black color. and if you don't believe
me, ask any one that knows some things about radiant energy. the
shinier (sp?) and brighter the color, the less it will want to radiate
heat (or energy).
