well, last night proved very benificial for me. i went out to the
garage with the intention of sorting out the problems with my ramair
project. because of my posting to "the list" i had many ideas to go
with as i attacked that induction box i made-up. well, here's what i
did:
from the box i made-up to engulf the air cleaner, i removed the
rearmost side so that any air flowing in through the intake hose would
just blow right out the back. that way there would no build up of
pressure. so essentially, now i only have a 'cold air' box. but,
this has proved benificial as well, as some of you may already know.
ok, on to the test drive. after i re-installed the set-up, i took the
car out for a little errand running. oh my, what a difference. for
anyone out there that wants a little more power, but without the cost
of totally going nuts on accessories, this set-up is a must for you.
as soon as the air starts flowing through the inlet ducting, you feel
the engine just devour the cold air, and it rewards you with the
biggest grin you face will handle.
