On a recent trip through Wisconsin Dells, WI, I noticed a '72 MKIV for sale in
a church parking lot. No one was around and the car was locked, but here's what
I
could tell. It had recently been painted (BRG) and they did a lousy job. Air
bubbles and rough spots here and there. The car sat level and had no appreciable
rust. The fascia was black vinyl. The rest of the interior was a bit rough, but
certainly acceptable. A few cracks and peels here and there.
The asking price was $3,000 and the phone# was 608 356 5152.
