Thanks to everyone who contributed to my post. It turned out to be the O ring
as many of you had suggested. I think it was just dry because when I came out
this morning to remove the float bowl and check it, it had tightened up. I
removed the bowl anyway and found some floaters in the bowl that I cleaned out
and checked the O ring as well. It seems to be in good shape, but I will
obtain a fresh one anyway just in case. No more leaking! Time to load her up
with fresh oil and give her a spin around the block. Unfortunately around the
block is all I can go for now until I get the registration, insurance, etc
squared away. At least I will be able to check out the gearbox, diff, etc for
the first time. This is soooo exciting!!!
